Monthly Archives: January 2025
Myles Lightfoot - January 05, 2025 Earlier this month, we celebrated World Braille Day, an important occasion dedicated to raising awareness about the significance of the Braille alphabet for individuals who are blind or visually impaired.
To further support this cause, we’ve created and printed a practical Braille alphabet guide designed to help anyone interested in learning Braille.
We made sure to use high-contrast colors, ensuring that the lettering is as clear and readable as possible, particularly for those experiencing early stages of sight loss.
This project was printed on our trusted Bambu Lab X1 Carbon, enhanced with a new upgrade we picked up at SMRRF 2024 in December: the Diamondback 0.4mm hotend! (Big thanks to Georgia for that one!)
The entire print took approximately 5 hours to complete and used about 180g of filament, producing a tool that’s not only functional
