Resin
Resin is a liquid material used in certain types of 3D printing, particularly in SLA (Stereolithography), DLP (Digital Light Processing), and LCD 3D printing technologies. Unlike traditional filament-based FDM (Fused Deposition Modeling) printing, which extrudes thermoplastic filament, resin is a photopolymer material that is cured (hardened) layer by layer using a light source, typically UV light or laser.
Resin offers high precision and smooth surface finishes, making it ideal for applications that require detailed, high-quality prints. The material is often used to produce highly accurate prototypes, jewelry, dental models, miniatures, and other intricate objects that require fine details.
