It is important to use the right nozzle for the right material. Make sure to check if your filament requires a specific type of nozzle. For example, when printing with standard PLA filament, a standard brass nozzle is sufficient because PLA does not require much heat or cause significant wear on the nozzle. For filament that contains wood or metal particles, you often need to choose a nozzle with a slightly larger diameter. For materials with particles that cause significant wear on the nozzle, such as carbon fiber or phosphor, a hardened nozzle is highly recommended.
