    PrimaSELECT PETG Filament buy PrimaCreator

PrimaSELECT PETG filament is an easy-to-process, versatile and very tough material for your 3D printer. At the same time it convinces with high flexibility and practically no material shrinkage. PrimaSELECT offers you two variants of PETG - translucent and opaque. PETG material does not absorb water and is easy to process on your 3D printer. 3D print it ideally with an adhesive (bed glue).

The main material properties PETG filament:

Objects made of PETG filament are clear, transparent or opaque

The main material properties PETG filament:

    • The PETG 3D printing material is very easy to process
    • Components are extremely strong, durable & long lasting
    • Minimal risk of warping during 3D printing
    • Water repellent material (hydrophobic: does not absorb water)
    • In the clear version approved for food contact (food safe)
    • No unpleasant odor during processing

Opaque, clear, high gloss or translucent PETG 3D printer filament

With the translucent PETG filament you get a high gloss and almost continuous transparent object. The translucency depends on the number and thickness of the layers. Solid colors provide a vibrant and beautiful surface with a high gloss finish.

PETG is hydrophobic (does not absorb water)

PrimaSELECT PETG is a hydrophobic (does not absorb water) material. Your 3D prints made from this filament will have a glossy and smooth surface. They are suitable for a variety of indoor and outdoor applications.

    PETG = PET + Glycol

PrimaSELECT PETG is a PET modified with glycol. This treatment gives it even greater transparency, stiffness and toughness than conventional PET. These properties make PETG ideal for artistic and technical applications.

    Impressively powerful colors

Be inspired and enchanted by the impressively powerful colors of your 3D prints with PETG filament.

Translucent 3D prints in vase mode

Use PrimaSELECT PETG regardless of your FDM/FFF 3D printer and application. Make beautiful 3D prints with it and use the "vase mode" to additively manufacture with more than 90% light transmission.

The material hardly smells and is approved for contact with foodstuffs

This PETG material hardly smells during processing. Another major advantage of PrimaSELECT PETG transparent is that it is FDA approved for food contact.

Tips for 3D printing with PETG

Test 3D printing speed and temperature to get different results in terms of surface finish and transparency.

PETG filament with good layer adhesion & low print bed temperature

PrimaSELECT PETG has very good adhesion between layers. This filament is easy to process. If possible, we recommend you to use a print bed temperature of about 45-60 °C.

Optimal bed adhesion through BuildTak & glass plates with adhesives

PrimaSELECT PETG adheres to BuildTak or glass plates with adhesives (glue or spray). After 3D printing, the easiest way to remove it is with a special 3D printing spatula.

Delivery in sturdy box & airtight packed

PrimaSELECT PETG is delivered on a transparent spool with 750 g or 2.3 kg of high-quality filament. It is in a sturdy box and packed with dehumidifier to minimize moisture.

    PrimaSELECT PETG - 1.75, 2.85 mm & 750 g, 2.3 kg as well as sample material

PrimaSELECT PETG is available in 1.75 mm and 2.85 mm diameter sizes. Buy a sample or a spool of 750 g or 2.3 kg rolls.
