ABS filament is durable & impact resistant

ABS material is used in a very wide range of applications. For example, Lego bricks are made of ABS material. They are very impact resistant and durable. Parts 3D printed with PrimaSELECT ABS filament have the same material properties.

Low warping risk

Compared to normal ABS, PrimaSELECT ABS is an "easy to process" material. It has a matt surface after 3D printing. The risk of warping is relatively low.

All PrimaSELECT ABS filaments are based on the RAL colour system. Buy the ABS filament in a wide range of powerful colours. The clear colour coding means you get the exact same colour every time you order a new spool.

Easy to process ABS filament – Very high impact strength

PrimaSELECT ABS has succeeded in developing an ABS filament that is easy to process and delivers a stunning 3D printing experience every time. This filament has very high impact resistance and is perfect for additive manufacturing of tools, toys and other gadgets.

PVA HT filament as support material

If you have a 3D printer with a dual extruder, use support material to produce even more accurately. We recommend using PrimaSELECT PVA HT (high temperature) as it bonds well to PrimaSELECT ABS and is easy to remove. PrimaSELECT PVA HT is even soluble in water.

Use a heated print bed

When 3D printing with PrimaSELECT ABS, we recommend that you use a heated bed to minimize warping and material shrinkage. Set the print bed to ± 90 - 110 °C for best results.

Very good layer adhesion on BuildTak, glass plates coated with adhesives & glue stick

PrimaSELECT ABS adheres to BuildTak or glass plates coated with adhesives or glue stick.
