The air’s turning crisp, summer’s warmth is behind us, and suddenly all I want to do is curl up inside with a blanket, a steaming mug of hot chocolate, and a good board game (with a side of 3D printing, naturally—it’s always the season for that).
Lately, my partner and I have been playing endless rounds of Everdell. It’s such a charming game, but there’s one not-so-charming part: the resources. Those berries roll everywhere, the logs topple into messy heaps, and before long the table looks more like a woodland accident than an orderly game night.
So this month, I decided to fix it. We found a wonderful set of resource holders on Printables, and I knew right away they’d be perfect for keeping our game nights a little tidier (and a lot less frustrating). With the design calling for a blend of different filaments, I turned to my tried-and-true Prusa Core One—reliable, versatile, and always ready for a new project.
Now, the resources sit neatly in their little trays, and our cozy autumn game nights feel just that much more magical.
